The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) proposed a major infrastructure project, the refurbishment and construction of the iconic Subhash Bridge over the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Built in 1973, the 453-metre bridge had served the city for over five decades as a vital link connecting the Ranip and Shahibaug areas. But by December 2025, visible cracks and structural settlement were discovered in the bridge deck, forcing AMC to shut it down to traffic immediately for public safety. The sudden closure of such a central urban artery caused significant traffic disruption across the city and quickly became a flashpoint in the media.
This was one of the most consequential projects we have worked on. The situation was delicate, the media's portrayal leaned heavily pessimistic, questioning governmental preparedness and infrastructure oversight, and a quiet public crisis was beginning to take shape. Adding to this, fabricated and misleading 3D renders of the bridge's supposed condition and redevelopment were already circulating online and across media platforms, deepening public anxiety and mistrust. Accurate, credible visuals were needed urgently, not just to inform, but to actively counter the misinformation and give residents a clear, honest picture of what was actually planned. Transparent 3D communication of the full development plan was essential to reassure Ahmedabad's citizens about the road ahead. On top of this, high-quality 3D visualisations were also a defined requirement within the official tender process, AMC eventually approved a ₹236–250 crore plan involving full superstructure restoration and the construction of two new parallel bridges on either side of the existing structure.
Anim Amaze LLC was brought on board to develop compelling 3D visualisations, including photorealistic renders and dynamic animations, to present the project's design, scope, and vision to AMC and senior government authorities. All of this had to come together within four days, a fraction of the time a project of this scale and sensitivity would normally demand. The team met that challenge head-on, delivering work that helped secure approvals, satisfy tender requirements, and give both authorities and the public a clear, trustworthy picture of what the new Subhash Bridge would become.
