The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) proposed a ~300-meter-long bridge over the Khari River to connect Vivekanandnagar and Hathijan in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This project aimed to replace the existing low-level causeway, which frequently becomes impassable during the monsoon due to heavy flooding. As a critical link between two densely populated areas, the lack of reliable access during the rainy season often leads to commute delays of 2 to 4 hours, severely affecting daily life and local connectivity.
The new bridge is designed with two vehicular lanes and a pedestrian footpath, and features a significantly elevated ground level, ensuring safe, uninterrupted travel throughout the year, even in torrential weather conditions.
Multi Media Consultants Pvt. Ltd. was responsible for the structural design and the development of the General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) for the bridge.
Our involvement began with a challenging situation. Just 2–3 days before the inauguration ceremony of the bridge’s construction, we and the consulting engineers were informed that a formal visual presentation was required. This presentation would be used in front of senior government dignitaries, media personnel, and residents, making clarity, speed, and visual impact essential.
GAD drawings, while rich in detail, are technical and not suitable for communicating complex infrastructure plans to a non-technical audience. There was a clear need to translate these plans into visuals that anyone could understand and connect with.
Our Solution: 3D Visuals That Spoke for Themselves
To meet this urgent requirement, we developed high-quality 3D rendered images of the proposed bridge in just 48 hours, from concept to final delivery, with no revisions required.
This project showcased our technical expertise, production speed, and ability to understand the client’s real-world communication needs. The visuals served as a powerful medium to engage stakeholders, inform the public, and support the ceremonial presentation, bridging the gap between engineering intent and public understanding.
This success story is a clear example of how timely, well-executed 3D visualization of Bridges can elevate infrastructure communication, especially when every second counts.
